IAM of Spartanburg Phase 1

Our Vision

 The IAM of Spartanburg Phase 1 project is a transformative affordable housing initiative by Reinvest Carolina Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to addressing critical housing needs in underserved communities. Strategically located at 2032 South Church Street Ext, Spartanburg, SC, the project is situated in a federally designated Opportunity Zone, offering significant incentives for investment while advancing the mission of providing affordable and accessible housing for seniors and individuals with disabilities. 

Project Highlights

 

  • Affordable and Accessible Housing:
  • Development of four modular duplex units, each comprising two-bedroom apartments tailored to the needs of seniors and persons with disabilities.
  • Units will serve individuals earning less than 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
  • Fully ADA-compliant designs ensure safe and accessible living environments, promoting independence and dignity for residents.
  • Sustainability and Innovation:
  • Modular construction minimizes environmental impact and reduces construction timelines.
  • Integration of solar-powered lighting and other renewable energy solutions aligns with long-term sustainability goals and cost-efficiency.
